City Holding Q3 Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - City Holding Co. (CHCO) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income available to common shareholders of $13.98 million, or $0.88 per share, compared to $10.61 million, or $0.71 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.78 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net interest income rose to $32.37 million from $24.88 million last year, while total non-interest income for the quarter was $14.5 million, up from $14.1 million a year ago. Analysts estimated revenues of $44.73 million for the quarter.
