China Cord Blood Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - China Cord Blood Corp. (CO) net income attributable to shareholders for the first quarter rose 5.8% to RMB32.9 million or $5.4 million from RMB31.1 million in the prior year period. Earnings per ordinary share for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 were RMB0.40 or $0.07.
Revenues increased 11.6% to RMB128.72 million or $20.97 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2014 from RMB115.33 million in the prior year period, driven mainly by the expansion in new subscriber numbers and, to a less extent, ongoing increases in the accumulated subscriber base.
