Cerner to Highlight Proven Innovation at TEPR 2005; Healthcare IT Lead

KANSAS CITY, Mo. & SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 2005--Cerner Corp. (NASDAQ: CERN) will demonstrate its healthcare information technology solutions for physicians in any practice size, as well as its award-winning, acute-care solutions, at the sixth annual Toward an Electronic Patient Record (TEPR) conference, organized by the Medical Records Institute (MRI), on May 16-18 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

Through solutions offered by Cerner Physician Practice, Inc., a subsidiary of Cerner, physician practices can leverage combined EHR and practice management systems to increase efficiencies and eliminate redundancies in billing, scheduling and reporting.
With 3,948 Cerner Millennium(R) solutions live at 780 facilities and CPOE at 378 facilities, including 74 acute-care sites, Cerner has proven experience in delivering value and results.

Cerner solutions can be seen in action during TEPR at the University of Utah Orthopedic Center's open house on Wednesday, May 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. Transportation will be provided from the Salt Palace Convention Center to the University of Utah Orthopedic Center and Delta Center, where attendees can learn more about the University's "chartless" healthcare environment.
