Cerner Corp Q3 Profit Rises 7%

(RTTNews) - Cerner Corp (CERN) released earnings for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $202.64 million, or $0.59 per share. This was higher than $188.73 million, or $0.54 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.60 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.4% to $1.18 billion. This was up from $1.13 billion last year.
