CBS Corp. Q2 Profit Advances 16%

(RTTNews) - CBS Corp. (CBS-A) announced earnings for its second quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $423 million, or $0.93 per share. This was higher than $365 million, or $0.74 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.2% to $3.29 billion. This was up from $3.22 billion last year.
