CAS Medical Gets Clearance To Market FORE-SIGHT ELITE Oximeters In Japan

(RTTNews) - CAS Medical Systems, Inc. (CASM) announced the receipt of regulatory clearance to market its FORE-SIGHT ELITE Cerebral Oximeters in Japan. The company said it will soon begin shipping FORE-SIGHT ELITE oximetry products, under an exclusive distribution agreement with Century Medical. The company expects the product will be available to customers in July.

"Although the FORE-SIGHT technology has been available in the United States and elsewhere since 2007, this approval marks the first time FORE-SIGHT will be available in Japan. We believe that revenues in Japan may soon be second only to those in the United States," said Thomas Patton, CASMED's CEO.
