Broadcom Reports Q4 Adj. EPS Excl. SBC Of $0.90- Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Broadcom Corp. (BRCM) reported fourth-quarter net income of $390 million or $0.64 per share, compared to $168 million or $0.29 per share, prior year. Non-GAAP net income for the fourth quarter of 2014 was $463 million, or $0.76 per share, including SBC. Adjusted earnings per share excluding stock-based compensation was $0.90, for the quarter.

On average, 35 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.87 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenue increased to $2.14 billion from $2.06 billion last year. Analysts expected revenue of $2.11 billion for the quarter.

Broadcom also announced it will pay next quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per share to holders of the company's common stock. The dividend will be paid on March 2, 2015 to holders of record of the company's Class A and Class B common stock at the close of business on February 13, 2015.
