Bravia Structures And Finances A 20% Stake In Avolon Holdings For Bohai Leasing

(RTTNews) - Bravia Capital, a Hong Kong-based investment and advisory firm, on Wednesday said they have arranged, structured and financed for Bohai Leasing Co, a 20% strategic investment in Avolon Holdings Ltd (AVOL).

Avolon is an aircraft leasing company, headquartered in Ireland, with a portfolio of commercial aircraft on lease globally.

Under the terms of the transaction, Bohai, the Chinese leasing and financial services company affiliated with HNA Group, will acquire 20% of the common shares of Avolon at a price of US$26 per share, representing a total value of $429 million. This makes Bohai the largest single shareholder in Avolon.

The strategic investment in Avolon will strengthen Bohai's position in global transportation and equipment finance, as a complement to the company's existing investment in Hong Kong Aviation Capital.
