Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires Spanjers Insurance Agency, Inc.

ITASCA, Ill., July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. today announced the acquisition of Spanjers Insurance Agency, Inc. of Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Formed in 1998, Spanjers Insurance Agency, Inc. is a retail insurance broker offering risk management, commercial property/casualty and employee benefits insurance services to their Midwestern client base. They specialize in insurance products for the fitness, restaurant, manufacturing, transportation and construction industries. George T. Spanjers and his associates will continue to operate out of their current location under the direction of Steven A. Ring, North Central Regional Manager of Gallagher's Retail Brokerage Services Division.
