Applied Industrial Raises FY25 Outlook; Boosts Dividend 24% - Update

(RTTNews) - While reporting financial results for the second quarter on Wednesday, Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. (AIT) raised its adjusted earnings and sales growth guidance for the full-year 2025.

For fiscal 2025, the company now projects adjusted earnings in a range of $9.65 to $10.05 per share on sales growth of 1 to 3 percent, with organic sales decline of 3 to 1 percent.

Previously, the company expected adjusted earnings in the range of $9.25 to $10.00 per share on sales between a decline of 2.5 percent and growth of 2.5 percent, with organic sales between a decline of 4 percent and a growth of 1 percent.

On average, eight analysts polled expect the company to report earnings of $9.79 per share on revenue growth of 1.42 percent to $4.54 billion for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said the updated guidance assumes initial estimated contribution from its recent Hydradyne acquisition, which closed on December 31, 2024. In addition, the updated guidance incorporates ongoing economic uncertainty and potential margin pressures on muted sales trends near term, ongoing inflationary headwinds, and growth investments.

The Company also announced that its Board of Directors approved a 24 percent increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.46 per common share, payable on February 28, 2025, to shareholders of record on February 14, 2025.
