Andrea Ledford Named NCR Senior Vice President of Human Resources

NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) today announced that Andrea Ledford has been named senior vice president of human resources. "Having people with the right skills, properly aligned to our business strategy and armed with the information and tools they need to do their jobs, has a huge impact on the success of our company,” said NCR President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Nuti. "NCR’s Human Resources team, under Andrea’s leadership, is an integral part of this process, with a primary focus on attracting, recruiting, retaining and developing talent, while owning employee engagement programs that enable everyone on the team to contribute to our business performance. This is especially vital for NCR as we grow our self-service leadership position, expanding into more industries and a broader geographic area.” Previously, Ledford was NCR vice president of human resources for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific and, before joining NCR in 2006, she led human resources for those regions at Symbol Technologies. Ledford also held senior global human resources roles at Cisco Systems, as well as Storage Technology, United International Holdings and Synergen. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Colorado and an executive master’s degree with INSEAD.
