Alliant Energy Corp Reports 13% Gain In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews) - Alliant Energy Corp (LNT) reported earnings for its second quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $83.9 million, or $0.37 per share. This was higher than $74.4 million, or $0.34 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.2% to $754.6 million. This was up from $717.2 million last year.
