Agilent Technologies Reports 15% Advance In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Agilent Technologies (A) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $193 million, or $0.59 per share. This was higher than $168 million, or $0.50 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.7% to $1.11 billion. This was up from $1.04 billion last year.
