Agent Workbench from HumanaOne Puts Insurance Professionals in Control
Insurance professionals now have a new, advanced online resource to
assist them in marketing, selling and tracking personal health plans
from HumanaOne®,
the individual health insurance division of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM).
Designed with input from independent insurance agents, Agent Workbench
provides information and tools to help insurance professionals build
their business, while saving time and taking the hassle out of quoting
and comparing individual health insurance plans.
"We believe we’ve
created one of the most powerful online tools in the industry,”
said Gilbert Roberts, vice president of sales for HumanaOne. "With
Agent Workbench, insurance professionals can more easily provide the
high caliber service that their clients need to feel confident, secure
and valued.”
Agent Workbench puts a wide range of information at the fingertips of
insurance professionals, including the ability to:
Generate quotes showing side-by-side comparisons between HumanaOne
plans and clients’ prior coverage –
even plans from other insurers
Track quotes and view whether the application is pending, withdrawn,
declined or issued
Email the HumanaOne Underwriting Department or Agent Service
Center with questions – direct access that
makes it easy to do business with Humana
Order marketing materials and benefit summaries to help generate
interest and leads
Receive sales updates, track commissions and bonuses
Humana also plans to continually enhance Agent Workbench. Future
additions will allow insurance professionals to receive alerts about
upcoming renewals, lapsed payments and terminations, as well as view
details of clients’ policies, whether in
force or no longer active.
"I find Agent Workbench to be extremely useful,”
said Peter Breen, president of Breen Insurance in Reno, Nev. "It’s
an all-in-one tool that helps me quote multiple plans and track
applications throughout the process.”
