After-market Movers For May 5 (EA, HLF, BRDR, ICUI, GRPN, NDLS, ZU, ARDX)

Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) gained over 4 percent to $61.74 as its fourth quarter results topped Wall Street view. EA also plans to repurchase up to $1 billion of its common stock.

Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) surged 15 percent to $46.30. The company's first quarter earnings and net sales were above market view. The company also raised its full year 2015 earnings guidance.

Borderfree (BRDR) jumped over 103 percent to $13.81 based on the news that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Pitney Bowes Inc. (PBI) for $14.00 per share in cash.

ICU Medical, Inc. (ICUI) was up 11 percent to $94.00 as its first quarter results were sharply above Street view. The company noted that its first quarter results were slightly above its expectations as it achieved gains in direct channel in Oncology and in both direct and OEM channels in Infusion Therapy.

Decliners:

Groupon, Inc. (GRPN) fell 2 percent to $6.70 as it provided a weak revenue outlook for its second quarter and full year 2015. At the same time, the company reported that its first quarter net loss narrowed from the year-ago quarter on higher revenues.

Noodles & Company (NDLS) plunged 18 percent to $16.95. The company slipped to a loss in its first quarter on a GAAP basis and its non-GAAP earnings per share as well as revenue missed Street view.

zulily, Inc. (ZU) declined 18 percent to $9.61. The company' first quarter non-GAAP earnings per share topped Street view, but net sales missed the consensus estimate. The company also forecast second quarter and 2015 net sales below analysts' expectations.

Ardelyx, Inc. (ARDX) was down 25 percent to $8.10 based on the news that Phase 2a clinical trial evaluating tenapanor in Stage 3 chronic kidney disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and albuminuria did not meet the primary endpoint of decreasing the urinary albumin-creatinine ratio in tenapanor-treated patients compared to patients receiving placebo.
