Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Dec., Q4 Revenues Rise - Update
(RTTNews) - Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASX), provider of packaging and testing services, Tuesday said its consolidated net revenues for December increased close to 13 percent from last year, while fourth-quarter revenues were up around 15 percent.
Net revenues for the month were NT$21.428 billion, up 12.8 percent from last year's NT$19.001 billion. Sequentially, revenue fell 2.5 percent from November 2013.
In US dollar terms, revenues for the month increased 10.8 percent from last year, while it slipped 3 percent from the previous month.
For the fourth quarter of 2013, revenues climbed 14.6 percent to NT$64.164 billion and increased 13.1 percent from the preceding quarter.
In US dollar terms, revenues for the quarter improved 13.3 percent from the same quarter in the prior year and improved 14.8 percent sequentially.
ATM net revenues increased 14.6 percent in December 2013 to NT$12.355 billion, while it fell marginally from the previous month.
According to the company, starting from February 1, 2010, Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd.'s consolidated revenues were consolidated into ASE Inc.'s consolidated revenues.
ASX fell 1.8 percent on Monday to close at $4.50.
