ACS Wins $51 Million Dollar IT Outsourcing Contract with DCP Midstream
DALLAS, April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., , today announced that it has been awarded an information technology (IT) outsourcing contract with DCP Midstream, one of the nation's largest natural gas gatherers and processors, and natural gas liquids producers in the midstream segment. The five-year agreement is valued at $51 million, with an optional three-year renewal.
Under the terms of the contract, ACS will deliver a broad range of IT services and support to DCP Midstream. Specific services include technical help desk, end-user desktop support, network management, centralized computing support, document management, messaging support, IT security, and application services for some packaged applications. The contract win is another example of ACS' competitive edge among leading global IT solutions providers.
As part of its solution for DCP Midstream, ACS will quickly migrate operations into its facilities, and then focus on transformational projects with DCP Midstream.
