ACS to Open Salt Lake City Call Center; Company to Host Job Fair June 21 and 22

DALLAS, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., , a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today that it will open a 47,000 square-foot facility in Salt Lake City in mid-August.

ACS will host a job fair at its new Salt Lake City location at 1911 North 2200 West from 1 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, June 21, and 8 am to 2 pm on Thursday, June 22. For more information, please call 801-567-5439.

ACS will provide customer service and technical support for a large wireless communications carrier from the new site. More than 250,000 customer calls per month will be handled at the new facility.

ACS will staff 250 positions in the next several weeks and expects to employ about 600 people by early 2007. Opportunities are available for call center managers, supervisors, trainers, help desk specialists, and experienced and entry-level customer service agents. All employees will be required to complete a seven-week paid training class that begins Monday, July 10.

The new site is ACS' fourth location in Utah. With over 2,000 employees at locations in Draper, Heber City, and Sandy, ACS is one of the largest private employers in the state. ACS' Utah employees support a number of large commercial and government clients.
