TELECOM ARGENTINA: Q3 Profit Rises As Sales Grow Faster Than Costs

(RTTNews) - Telecom Argentina reported a net profit of 2.056 billion pesos (US$ 117.1 million) in the third quarter of 2017, an almost threefold increase from the same period of the previous year.

Sales and other income increased by 16.72 billion pesos in the third quarter, a 24.8% increase on an annual basis, while the operating profit before depreciation and amortization reached 4.9 billion, 42.3% more than the same period of 2016.

Operating costs totaled 13.574 billion during the third quarter of 2017, an increase of 16.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
