South Korea Consumer Confidence Dips In October
(RTTNews) - Consumer confidence in South Korea was down slightly in October, the latest survey from the Bank of Korea revealed on Tuesday - sliding to 105.0 from 107.0 in September.
Consumer sentiment on current living standards was lower by two points than in September at 91, and the outlook was down one point at 99.
Consumer sentiment regarding current domestic economic conditions was four points below the September figure at 79, while the future outlook was six points lower at 91.
Consumer sentiments on prospective changes in household income and on expected spending were down by one point each month-on-month, at 101 and 109, respectively.
The expectation for inflation over the following year was 2.7 percent.
