South Korea Consumer Confidence Dips In February

(RTTNews) - An index measuring consumer confidence in South Korea came in at 108.0 in February, the Bank of Korea said on Wednesday - down from 1.09.0 in January.

Consumer sentiments on current living standards and for their outlook remained unchanged at 93 and 101, respectively.

Consumer sentiment regarding current domestic economic conditions rose by one point compared to January to 85, while that on their future outlook remained the same as for January at 99.

Consumer sentiments on prospective changes in household income was 102, down by one point from the month before, while that on expected spending was lower by two points at 110.

The expectation for inflation over the following year was 2.9 percent.
