Seychelles Inflation Falls To 2-year Low
(RTTNews) - Seychelles' inflation slowed to its lowest level in two years in July, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday.
The consumer price index rose 3.3 percent year-on-year, after a 3.6 percent increase in June. Inflation slowed for the fourth month in a row and was the lowest since August 2011, when it was 2.9 percent.
Month-on-month, consumer prices dropped 0.1 percent in July, following a 0.5 percent rise in the previous month. This was the first monthly decline since October 2010.
