S. Korea Consumer Confidence Unchanged In December
(RTTNews) - South Korea's consumer confidence held steady in December, after a modest increase in the previous month, data from the Bank of Korea showed on Thursday.
The consumer confidence index showed a reading of 107, unchanged from November. Households' view regarding their current living standards were unchanged, while their expectations on the same eased slightly.
Consumers' assessment of their present as well as future economic conditions declined in December. Their view on the outlook for household income improved. Households' expectation of inflation next year remained unchanged at 2.9 percent.
