New Zealand Trade Data Due On Tuesday
(RTTNews) - New Zealand will on Tuesday release March figures for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Imports are expected to come in at NZ$4.1 billion, up from NZ$3.7 billion in February. Exports are called at NZ$5 billion, up from NZ$4.6 billion in the previous month. The trade balance is expected to show a surplus of NZ$ 0.9 billion, up from NZ$0.6 billion a month earlier.
South Korea will provide March numbers for its current account balance. In February, the current account surplus was $7.57 billion.
Singapore will post March numbers for producer prices; in February, PPI was flat on month and down 0.6 percent on year.
