New Zealand Q3 Manufacturing Activity Volume Rises 0.4%

(RTTNews) - The volume of manufacturing activity in New Zealand gained a seasonally adjusted 0.4 percent in the third quarter of 2014, Statistics New Zealand said on Monday - following the 0.6 percent decline in the second quarter.

Excluding meat and dairy product manufacturing, sales advanced 0.9 percent. Meat and dairy product manufacturing fell 1.4 percent.

By value, activity slowed 1.2 percent after tumbling 2.3 percent in the previous three months.

Excluding meat and dairy product manufacturing, sales value added 0.4 percent. Meat and dairy product manufacturing dropped 4.8 percent.
