New Zealand Consumer Confidence Rises In Q1 - Westpac
(RTTNews) - Consumer confidence in New Zealand improved in the first quarter of 2015, the latest survey from Westpac Bank revealed on Monday with an index score of 117.4.
That's up from 114.8 in the fourth quarter of last year.
"The strong lift in confidence is not surprising given the fall in petrol prices, steady mortgage rates, share and house price gains," Westpac said in a statement accompanying the data.
