Japan Industrial Production On Tap For Wednesday

(RTTNews) - Japan will on Wednesday release preliminary September figures for industrial production, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

Output is expected to rise 1.8 percent on month and 5.5 percent on year after shedding 0.9 percent on month and 0.4 percent on year in August.

Japan also will see September numbers for vehicle production; in August, production dipped 7.6 percent on year.

Australia will release new home sales data for September; in August, sales were up 3.4 percent on month.

South Korea will release September numbers for industrial output; in August, output was up 1.8 percent on month and 3.3 percent on year.
