Italy's Hourly Wage Growth Slows In February
(RTTNews) - Italy's hourly wage growth slowed in February after accelerating in the prior month, data from the statistical office Istat showed Friday.
Hourly wages rose only 0.1 percent in February from the prior month, slower than the 0.6 percent growth seen in January. At the same time, wages per employee remained unchanged in February.
On a yearly basis, hourly wage growth remained unchanged at 1.4 percent in February.
During the period January to February, hourly wages and wages per employee rose by 1.4 percent each compared to the same period of the previous year.
