Greece Producer Prices Fall At Slower Pace In November

(RTTNews) - Greece's producer prices continued to decline in November, though at a slower pace than in the previous month, figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Wednesday.

The overall producer price index fell 8.5 percent year-over-year in November, following a 9.6 percent decline in October. Producer prices have been falling since July 2014.

Producer prices in the domestic market dipped 6.6 percent annually in November and foreign market prices plunged by 13.8 percent.

Among the main industrial groups, prices in the energy sector slumped 20.0 percent and that for intermediate good sector slid by 1.6 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices edged down 0.1 percent in November, slower than the 0.6 percent fall in the prior month. It was the fifth month of decrease in a row.
