Australia Home Loans On Tap For Friday

(RTTNews) - Australia will on Friday see May results for home loans and investment lending, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

The number of home loans is expected to fall 0.5 percent on month following the flat reading in April. The value of loans was up 1.4 percent on month in April, while investment lending gained 2.3 percent.

New Zealand will release June numbers for food prices and non-resident bond holdings; in May, they were up 0.6 percent and 64.6 percent, respectively.

Finally, the markets in Thailand are closed on Friday for Asarnha Bucha Day, and will re-open on Monday.
