ARGENTINA: Gov't To Send Tax Reform To Congress Before Year's End
(RTTNews) - Argentinean Finance Minister Nicolás Dujovne announced that the national government would send a tax reform bill to Congress before the end of the year. According to him, the tax reform aims to reduce from the current 41% to 33% in 2023 the tax burden in Argentina.
The tax reform bill sought by the government "will propose a gradual reduction in taxes that will give predictability to the private sector, because entrepreneurs will be able to incorporate into their projections how the tax scheme will be in the next five years," Dujovne said.
The minister stated that, according to his projections, Argentina could grow "3% or 4% per year for many years" with "floating exchange rate, integration with the world and tax reform."
