ARGENTINA: Government Sets Regulations For Aluminum Trading In The Country

(RTTNews) - The Argentinean government set the regulation for aluminum sales in the country aiming at the protecting the quality and safety conditions of the product in the local market.

Amid a set of technical quality requirements, the Argentinean government decided that domestic manufacturers and importers of the products "will be responsible for certifying compliance with the technical requirements," while distributors, wholesalers, and retailers should demand such certification.

The government defined the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), a decentralized agency of the Ministry of Production, and the company Tuv Rheinland Argentina as authorized bodies to carry out the certification procedure.
