TIAA Asset Management Finance Company, LLC -- Moody's assigns first time issuer rating of Baa3 to TIAA Asset Management Finance Company, LLC
New York, October 15, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a first time issuer rating of Baa3 to TIAA Asset Management Finance Company, LLC (TAMF), a new wholly-owned subsidiary holding company under Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association of America (TIAA) that owns Nuveen Investments, Inc., an asset management company recently acquired by TIAA. The rating was placed on review for upgrade.
