Sydbank A/S -- Moody's says new bill for mortgage-credit bonds mitigates refinancing risk in the Danish mortgage system
London, 17 March 2014 -- A Danish bill amending an existing mortgage-credit loans and mortgage-credit bonds Act, and the country's Financial Business Act, is overall credit positive for Danish mortgage credit institutions and mortgage-credit bond issuing banks, says Moody's Investors Service in a new report published today. This is because the bill provides a structure that reduces exposure to refinancing risk.
