Frankfurt am Main, November 28, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has today upgraded the Corporate Family Rating ("CFR") of Smurfit Kappa Group plc ("SKG") to Ba1 from Ba2 and the Probability of Default Rating ("PDR") to Ba1-PD from Ba2-PD. Concurrently, the instrument ratings of the senior notes issued by its guaranteed subsidiaries were upgraded to Ba1 (LGD4,50). The outlook is stable.
