RWE AG -- Moody's: Regulated and contracted earnings give resilience to European Unregulated Utilities and Power Companies
London, 19 November 2015 -- According to Moody's Investors Service, the balance of earnings at European Unregulated Utilities and Unregulated Power Companies has shifted. Across the industry, earnings exposed to the wholesale price of electricity and gas have declined significantly since 2011, while earnings from regulated networks, renewables subsidies and other long-term contracts have grown.
