Reynolds American Inc. -- Moody's Revises Reynolds American's Outlook to Positive; Ratings Affirmed
New York, June 10, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") revised Reynolds American Inc.'s ("Reynolds") rating outlook to positive from stable due to the company's strong operating performance and Moody's expectation that credit metrics will continue to improve. The positive outlook also reflects the litigation environment for cigarette companies, which has slowly improved over the past few years. All ratings were affirmed, including the Baa3 senior unsecured rating.
