RELX Inc. -- Moody's assigns Prime-2 rating to RELX Finance BV; affirms existing ratings of other RELX Group entities; outlook stable
London, 11 December 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Prime-2 rating to the $3 billion commercial paper programme issued by RELX Finance BV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RELX Group. The programme is guaranteed irrevocably and unconditionally by RELX NV and RELX PLC on a senior unsecured basis. Moody's also affirmed the existing Baa1 ratings of Elsevier Finance S.A., RELX Inc., RELX Capital Inc, RELX (Investments) plc, and RELX Finance BV; the (P)Baa1 shelf rating of RELX Capital Inc.; and the Prime-2 ratings of Elsevier Finance S.A., Reed Elsevier Properties S.A., RELX Inc. and RELX (Investments) plc; the outlook for all ratings is stable.
