Peerless Insurance Company -- Moody's assigns A2 IFS rating to Peerless Insurance Company; outlook stable
New York, July 11, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned an A2 insurance financial strength (IFS) rating to Peerless Insurance Company (PIC), an insurance operating subsidiary of Liberty Mutual. The rating is in line with the A2 IFS ratings of Liberty Mutual's other insurance operating subsidiaries, and follows PIC's inclusion in Liberty Mutual's Intercompany reinsurance pooling agreement on January 1, 2013. The outlook for the rating is stable.
