Moody's: Wyoming counties have advantage over Kentucky, West Virginia as coal revenue, production fall
New York, October 03, 2016 -- Amid weakening demand and changing emissions regulation, coal counties in Wyoming (unrated) are better positioned than their counterparts in West Virginia (Aa1 negative) and Kentucky (Aa2 stable) to fiscally withstand the record declines in coal production, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report.
