Moody's: Two new loan liquidations with high losses drive up loss severities in Q3
New York, December 12, 2014 -- The weighted average loss severity for loans liquidated at a loss rose to 42.6% in the third quarter of 2014 from 42.1% in the second quarter, driven by two new loans that were liquidated at high losses, according to a new report from Moody's Investors Service, "US CMBS Loss Severities: Q3 2014 Update."
