Moody's seeks comment on proposed approach to rating student loan ABS backed by both FFELP and private student loans
New York, June 14, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service is requesting comment from the market on its proposed approach to rating student loan asset-backed securities (ABS) backed by mixed pools of loans: both loans made under the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and private student loans, which do not benefit from the US government guarantee.
