Moody's assigns definitive ratings to American Express 2013-2 credit card-backed securities
New York, November 14, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Aaa(sf) rating to the senior Class A floating rate certificates and a A2 (sf) rating to the mezzanine Class B floating rate certificates of Series 2013-2 issued from the American Express Credit Account Master Trust (the "Trust"). Moody's has also assigned a Baa2(sf) rating to the floating rate secured notes (Class 1) issued by the related American Express Credit Account Secured Note Trust 2013-2. Moody's also announced today that at this time the issuance of the Series 2013-2 in and of itself, will not result in a reduction, withdrawal, or placement under review for possible downgrade of the ratings currently assigned to any class or tranche of outstanding notes or certificates (the Outstanding Notes) issued by the Trust.
