MetLife, Inc. -- Moody's affirms MetLife (A3 senior debt); changes outlook to stable

New York, April 03, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service today affirmed MetLife, Inc.'s (MetLife: NYSE: MET) credit ratings (senior debt at A3) and the Aa3 insurance financial strength (IFS) ratings of its US operating subsidiaries, including Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MLIC). The outlook for MetLife and its US subsidiaries was changed to stable from negative. Moody's also affirmed the A1 IFS rating of American Life Insurance Company (ALICO).
