Medellin, City of -- Moody's Upgrades Bogota and Medellin to Baa2, stable outlook

New York, July 29, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service upgraded to Baa2 from Baa3 the issuer (Global scale, local currency) and debt ratings (Global scale, foreign currency) of the City of Bogota. Moody´s also upgraded the issuer ratings of the City of Medellin to Baa2 from Baa3 (Global scale, foreign and local currency). The outlook for both cities changed to stable from positive.
