McKesson Corporation -- Moody's: McKesson's Vantage Oncology and Biologics Deals Are Credit Positive

New York, February 26, 2016 -- On 25 February 2016, McKesson Corporation announced that it plans to acquire Vantage Oncology, LLC, a leading provider of outpatient radiation oncology services, and Biologics, Inc., an oncology pharmacy services company for $1.2 billion. Moody's views this as credit positive because it will help McKesson expand its presence in specialty services, and Moody's expects financial leverage to remain roughly at current levels.
