Kuwait investment company S.A.K. -- Moody's confirms Kuwait Investment Company's Ba2 rating; outlook revised to negative
Limassol, May 21, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has today confirmed the Ba2 long-term issuer rating of Kuwait Investment Company S.A.K. (KIC) and revised the outlook to negative. The confirmation primarily reflects Moody's views that 1) the fundamental credit profile of KIC currently remains unaffected by the announcement of a divestment strategy by its main shareholder, the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), and 2) KIA will remain supportive of KIC throughout the divestiture process.
