London, 18 August 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has today assigned A2/Prime-1 long and short-term first-time public deposit ratings to KLP Banken AS (KLP Banken). The outlook on the long-term ratings is stable. At the same time, Moody's has assigned a baa2 baseline credit assessment (BCA) and baa1 adjusted BCA to the bank. The rating agency has also assigned a Counterparty Risk Assessment (CR Assessment) of A1(cr)/Prime-1(cr) to the bank. This is the first time Moody's has assigned credit ratings to KLP Banken.
