Sao Paulo, October 24, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has today downgraded the long-term local- and foreign-currency deposit ratings for Banco Paulista S.A. (Paulista) to B2, from B1. At the same time, Moody's affirmed the E+ bank financial strength and lowered the baseline credit assessment (BCA) to b2, from b1. The long-term Brazilian National Scale rating to Paulista was also downgraded to Baa3.br, from Baa2.br. The outlook on all ratings remains stable.
