ÅF signs framework agreement as supplier to Svenska kraftnät

ÅF and Svenska kraftnät have signed a new three-year framework agreement covering engineering and consulting services.

Svenska kraftnät will purchase engineering and consulting services worth about SEK 500 million per year over the next few years with a stated ambition to have strengthened relationship with fewer suppliers. This benefits ÅF, which was selected as supplier in all four contracted categories.

"The agreement means a further strengthening of our position as a strategic supplier to Svenska kraftnät and proves our ability to help Svenska kraftnät create a secure, climate-friendly and cost-effective electricity supply in Sweden," says Per Magnusson, president of ÅF's Industry Division.

The three-year framework agreement extends over the years 2016-2018 with an extension option of 1 + 1 year.
